A fun twist on a classic. We top our avocado toast with crab, a slice of jalapeno, and a siracha mayo drizzle.
Ingredients
- For the Avocado Mixture
- 2 avocados
- 2 tbsp lime juice
- 2 tsp hot sauce
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/2 tsp kosher salt
- For Toast
- 1 baguette, sliced into rounds
- 4 tbsp olive oil
- 1/2 tsp kosher salt
- 1/2 tsp black pepper, coarsely ground
- 2 jalapeno peppers, sliced
- 2 chipotle aioli
- 1 sesame seeds
- 1lb crab meat
Directions
- Place baguette rounds onto large baking sheet, drizzle with olive oil, season with salt & pepper.
- Toast in oven at 385°F until golden brown.
- While bread is toasting, combine all ingredients for avocado mixture & mash together.
- Spread avocado mixture onto toasted bread.
- Spoon crab meat onto each toast. Top with a jalapeno slice per toast.
- Drizzle chipotle aioli & sprinkle sesame seeds over top of toasts.
- Serve immediately.
